If you have been waiting for a portable spot cleaner deal worth watching, the Bissell Little Green 1400B is the one to keep on your radar during this sale: it carries America’s #1 portable deep cleaning reputation across more than 94,000 owner reviews, and it is the pick most readers reach for first. The Shark StainStriker earns a close second with its dual-formula OXY technology for stubborn messes, while the Hoover CleanSlate Plus is the strongest option for varied surfaces when you need one machine for carpets, upholstery, and car interiors. Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6-7, 2026, and most offers need a Prime membership.

We compared every portable spot cleaner worth watching this sale by checking owner ratings, review counts, tank capacity, weight, included tools, and the specific messes the model handles (pet stains, set-in dirt, car interiors, upholstery). Data was checked in October 2026, and every product in this list is from a vetted retail listing on Amazon. Specs, ratings, and review counts come directly from each listing rather than guesswork.
Tank: 48oz clean
Weight: 9.7 lb
Tools: HydroRinse plus 3 inch
Warranty: 1 year
The Bissell Little Green 1400B has earned the top spot because of the sheer weight of owner experience behind it. With more than 94,000 reviews and a 4.5-star average, this is the machine most people already picture when you say “portable spot cleaner.” It runs on a 48oz clean water tank, which is one of the larger capacities in this category, and it ships with a 3 inch tough stain tool plus the HydroRinse self-cleaning accessory.
Owners report reliable performance on the everyday disasters: pet accidents, muddy paw prints, spilled coffee, red wine on a light rug. The spray-scrub-suction cycle pulls stains from beneath the surface rather than just blotting them, which matters when you cannot get a professional cleaner in the door.
If you want one machine that has already been tested by millions of households and you do not need cordless portability, this is the safe choice to watch.
Every Bissell purchase supports the Bissell Pet Foundation, so this pick doubles as a small donation to pet rescue programs. The 1-year limited warranty covers defects but not wear-and-tear parts like the tough stain tool lens.
Tank: 2 liter
Weight: 8.5 lb
Tools: 4 attachments
Warranty: standard
The Shark StainStriker earned its spot because it solves the chemistry problem most spot cleaners ignore. StainStriker Technology fuses two formulas on contact rather than relying on a premixed solution, which Shark says delivers 20X more stain-removing power. The bottle separation keeps OXY active right up to the stain instead of losing strength over weeks on a shelf.
What stands out is the tool lineup. You get four specialized attachments: a 3 inch stain eliminator, a 7 inch XL stain eliminator, a crevice tool, and a pet mess extractor. Reviewers with multiple pets say the pet tool alone is worth the upgrade over a basic spot cleaner.
The StainStriker is lighter at 8.5 lb and more aggressive on set-in stains than the Bissell Little Green 1400B, but it does not have the decades of review volume behind it. If you want a fresher feature set and a stronger odor-removal story, this is the one to watch.
The 2 liter tank capacity is generous for a corded unit, and Shark ships both a 6oz Deep Clean Pro Formula and a 12oz OXY Multiplier Pro Formula in the box so you can start cleaning immediately.
Tank: 40oz
Weight: 9.4 lb
Tools: WidePath plus TightSpot
Warranty: standard
The Hoover CleanSlate Plus stands out for one reason: tool versatility. You get a 7 inch WidePath tool that covers large stained areas fast and a TightSpot tool that pushes into crevices and car seat seams. For pet owners whose messes happen in odd places (between couch cushions, along baseboards, on stairs), that flexibility matters more than a slight bump in suction specs.
Reviewers consistently mention the hose rinse tool as the underrated part of the package. After every job, you run fresh water through the system to flush out residual dirt, which keeps the machine from smelling like old pet mess the next time you pull it out.
Skip it if you mostly clean thick carpet sections where you want maximum suction per pass. In that case, the Bissell Little Green 1400B has more raw pulling power. The CleanSlate Plus wins on reach and tool variety, not raw suction.
The dual tank design holds 40oz of clean solution, and the unit ships with a trial oxy cleaning solution so you can test it on pet stains the same day it arrives.
Tank: 16oz
Weight: 7 lb
Tools: 4 inch plus HydroRinse
Warranty: standard
The Bissell Little Green Mini answers a real problem: most full-size spot cleaners are awkward to store. At 7 lb and roughly the size of a small wastebasket, this one fits in a kitchen cabinet, a hall closet, or under a bathroom vanity. Reviewers with studio apartments and small homes specifically call out the storage win.
What surprised owners is the suction for the size. The Mini pulls embedded dirt out of car seats and mattress spots that you would normally scrub by hand. The 4 inch tough stain tool has a removable lens for easy rinsing, which matters because small tanks mean you will clean that tool more often.
The Mini trades tank capacity and tool variety for footprint and grab-and-go portability. Apartment dwellers with limited closet space will appreciate the trade; owners of three-bedroom houses may want the larger Hoover CleanSlate Plus instead.
At 16oz the clean tank is small, so plan on two or three refills for a full car interior or a heavily stained couch. Several reviewers recommend buying a spare Bissell Little Green Formula bottle alongside it.
Tank: 8oz
Weight: 8.2 lb
Tools: self cleaning
Warranty: standard
For older pet stains that have already been scrubbed at once with a paper towel and a shout, the Bissell Little Green Max Pet is the model that earns its name. Bissell rates its suction at 30% more powerful than the competitive portable cleaners it was tested against, and the SmartMix system removes the manual measuring step entirely. You pour in water, the machine blends it with the PET PRO OXY formula at the right ratio.
The self-cleaning tough stain tool is the practical upgrade here. It rinses residue out of the tool itself, so you are not spraying yesterday’s grime onto today’s stain. Owners with senior pets and recurring accidents specifically mention this feature.
If your messes tend to be old rather than fresh, this is the more thoughtful pick. For fresh spills and quick cleanups, the Shark StainStriker’s dual-formula approach works faster. The Max Pet is the right tool when the stain has been there since last weekend.
Best for: households with senior pets and recurring accidents on carpet or upholstery that has already been through one cleanup attempt.
Tank: 0.14 L
Weight: 6.3 lb
Tools: crevice plus eliminator
Warranty: standard
If you have ever dragged a corded spot cleaner across a driveway to clean a car seat, you already know why the Shark StainForce Cordless exists. The 2025 model is handheld, battery powered, and weighs just 6.3 lb. You can take it to the back seat of a minivan, a patio cushion, or a stroller without hunting for an outlet.
The dual-chamber refill is the clever bit. Two formulas stay separate inside the bottle until you spray, then mix in the nozzle to activate OXY on contact. Shark rates the formula strength at 30X more stain-fighting power than standard spot sprays.
Skip it if your messes tend to be large carpet patches; this is the pick for spot work in awkward places. For a full living room cleanup, the corded picks above still win.
The included Grab & Go Caddy keeps the unit, the spray bottle, and the charging cable together in one place, which matters because loose battery-powered cleaners tend to disappear into junk drawers between uses.
Tank: 3.4 lb
Weight: 8.7 lb
Tools: 3.5 inch plus hose cleaner
Warranty: standard
For shoppers watching the bottom line during the sale, the Vacmaster 400 Series is the budget entry that still does the job. The 16Kpa power suction is competitive with much pricier units, and the 6 ft hose gives you reach that other compact machines cut short. You can clean across a wide couch or a back seat without dragging the body of the unit behind you.
The hose cleaning tool is a small but practical addition. After you finish a job, you attach the tool and flush the hose with fresh water, which keeps residue from drying inside and smelling the next time you turn it on. Owners mention this feature specifically because they have owned spot cleaners without it.
The Vacmaster gives up some suction strength and brand recognition for a longer hose and a more useful cleaning tool kit than the Bissell Little Green Mini. For shoppers whose priority is getting a real spot cleaner on a sale budget, it is a fair trade.
Setup: the dark tank material looks sleek but hides the dirty water line, so plan on emptying after every two or three stain sections rather than waiting for the tank to look full.
Tank: 60oz clean water
Weight: 10.4 lb
Tools: 3 inch hand tool, 5 inch wide tool, CreviceCollector
Warranty: 1 year
The Starrybot Upholstery Cleaner punches above its weight in the suction department. At 18,000 PA it is rated higher than most machines in this list, which matters when you are pulling ground-in dirt out of a high-traffic rug or a well-loved couch. The 60oz clean water tank is the largest here, so you spend more time on the stain and less time at the sink refilling.
What makes it work for small spaces is the brush kit: a 3 inch hand tool for stubborn spots, a 5 inch wide tool for bigger sections, and a CreviceCollector for tight gaps. Reviewers with small dining nooks and nursery furniture call out the crevice tool as the most-used attachment.
If your messes are usually one or two tough spots rather than a wide swath, the Vacmaster 400 Series is the smarter budget play. For harder jobs in tighter rooms, the Starrybot earns its space with a larger tank and stronger suction.
The 1-year warranty covers defects, and the detachable handle makes storage in narrow closets much easier than fixed-handle designs.
Tank: 2.4 liter capacity
Weight: 5 lb
Tools: high density, silicone, velvet, and self cleaning brushes
Warranty: 1 year
Uwant built the Y100OXY around a single audience: pet owners. The included Pet Pro Oxy Solution is formulated for dander, urine, and the kind of organic mess that generic carpet shampoos leave behind. Uwant rates the cleaning efficiency 60% higher than regular solutions on pet stains, which lines up with what reviewers describe.
The 2-in-1 water tank design is the practical standout. Instead of two separate tanks you have to remove, fill, empty, and rinse, both the clean and dirty water compartments release together with one hand. That matters when you are mid-cleanup and your other hand is holding a squirming dog.
If you want the cleaner that was designed from the start for pet households, this is the pick to monitor. For a proven workhorse with decades of owner feedback, the Bissell Little Green Max Pet is the safer bet.
The newer design makes this one of the freshest options on the list, and Uwant ships four different brush heads (high density, silicone, velvet, and self cleaning) so you can match the brush to the fabric.
Tank: 2.4 liter capacity
Weight: 8 lb
Tools: high density, silicone, velvet, self cleaning brushes
Warranty: 1 year
The Uwant Y100 is the sibling model to the Y100OXY, tuned for general upholstery and car interiors rather than pet-focused chemistry. The 18Kpa suction pulls ground-in dirt from car floor mats, and the long cord gives you reach from a garage outlet across an SUV cabin without unplugging.
The same 2-in-1 tank system carries over: both clean and dirty water release with one hand, so you are not juggling two tanks while leaning over a car door. The included textile solution handles everyday fabric stains rather than the harder pet oxy formula.
If your messes are inside the house and the garage, the corded Uwant wins on suction and tank size. If you need to clean a stroller in the park or a patio cushion far from an outlet, the Shark StainForce Cordless is the better tool.
The current model year makes this one of the freshest designs on the list, and the brush kit covers most fabric types you would realistically clean at home.
Tank size decides how often you stop cleaning to walk back to the sink. Anything below 20oz (the Bissell Little Green Mini at 16oz) means two to three refills for a full car interior. For one-room messes the smaller tanks are fine; for whole-couch or whole-car work, look for 40oz or larger (Hoover CleanSlate Plus, Starrybot). The larger tanks also tend to mean heavier units, so balance the trade-off against who in the house will be carrying it.
Corded spot cleaners deliver stronger suction and unlimited runtime but tie you to an outlet. Cordless models like the Shark StainForce Cordless free you to clean a back seat or a patio cushion anywhere, but battery life caps runtime and the tanks are smaller. For shoppers with outlets close to the mess, corded wins on raw power. For renters who need to clean across rooms or outdoors, cordless is the right trade.
Pet households need three things: a pet-specific tool (Shark StainStriker’s pet mess extractor, Hoover’s TightSpot, or Uwant’s silicone brush), a solution designed for organic stains (PET PRO OXY, OXY Multiplier, or Pet Pro), and a hose rinse feature so old residue does not contaminate the next job. The Bissell Little Green Max Pet, Hoover CleanSlate Plus, and Uwant Y100OXY cover all three.
Manufacturer suction numbers are not standardized, so they are useful for comparing within one brand but not across brands. The Vacmaster at 16Kpa, the Uwant twins at 18Kpa, and the Starrybot at 18,000 PA are all in the strong tier. The Bissell Little Green Max Pet claims 30% more suction than competitive models, which lines up with its heavier 8.2 lb body. Heavier units in this list generally pull harder but tire your arm faster.
If you live in a small apartment, the Bissell Little Green Mini at 7 lb or the Shark StainForce Cordless at 6.3 lb are the easiest to live with. For houses with a utility closet or garage shelf, the larger units like the Starrybot at 10.4 lb are manageable. Cord wrap, grab-and-go handles, and detachable tanks all make storage easier.
During Prime Big Deal Days (October 6-7, 2026), portable spot cleaner deals move fast and most offers need a Prime membership, though a free trial works. Check the listing’s sold-by before you buy: Amazon-fulfilled listings ship and return through Amazon, while third-party sellers may ship slower. Compare the listing model number against the model you actually want, since older Bissell Little Green variants look similar but lack newer features like SmartMix. Look for “Renewed” or “Open Box” tags if you want a lower entry cost, and confirm the included formula bottles match the description. Most offers change through the event, so if a pick on this list catches your eye, add it to your cart early.
Quick checklist:
Amazon confirmed Prime Big Deal Days for October 6-7, 2026. The event spans two days with most offers requiring a Prime membership, though a free trial works for shoppers who have not signed up yet.
Yes, most portable spot cleaner deals during Prime Big Deal Days need an active Prime membership. The free 30-day trial counts, so you can sign up just before the sale and cancel after if you do not want to keep it.
For most households the Bissell Little Green 1400B remains the safest pick because of its 48oz tank, included HydroRinse self cleaning tool, and over 94,000 owner reviews. For set-in stains, step up to the Little Green Max Pet with SmartMix auto blending and 30% more suction. For tight storage, the Little Green Mini at 7 lb is the most apartment friendly.
Deal pricing varies by the hour during the event, so the only way to confirm a true discount is to compare the sale price against its recent listing price on the same model. Some listings inflate the original price before the sale, which makes the discount look larger than it is. The picks on this list are models with strong owner ratings, which means even at full price they tend to hold their value over time.
Yes, for most pet households a portable spot cleaner pays for itself within the first few serious accidents. A machine like the Bissell Little Green Max Pet or Uwant Y100OXY removes urine, dander, and organic stains in a single pass and eliminates the odor instead of masking it, which matters when the same spot gets revisited.
Skip generic cleaning bundles that combine a low-end spot cleaner with solution bottles you do not need, and skip older model year units that lack newer features like SmartMix or dual chamber OXY formulas. Also skip third-party sellers you cannot verify, since Prime Big Deal Days fulfillment from third parties can be slower than Amazon fulfilled listings.
