Can we create another category other than Greenwashing? Something like "BullSh!tting"? Caressing his big a$$ SUV while dangling keys and promising fuel conservancy! Was this meant as a satire? Where's the guy that jumps out from behind the truck ans yells: "Live, From New York. It's Saturday Night!!" Pul-eeze!

It would be interesting to know why they choose an Asian man with Toyota being such a big threat to american car manufacturers...

Yeah - the key-dangling-image is just a bit too much. And what is "Project Green" anyway? Way too polished and slick for it to be believable...

Greenwashing is a term that companies use to hide the real truth by displaying acts of concern for the enviornment, though their products and its effects on the enviornment say otherwise. Though this commercial shows that the company is trying to create innovative and fuel effficent cars, the real truth is that the miles per gallon change is not that different from older versions of their SUV's and trucks. The new 2008Yukon hyrbid is stated to have 21 city/ 22 hwy, while the older 2004 version is 14 city/18 hwy. There is not a great difference in saving gas. Bigger cars require large amounts of fuel intake, GM may need to research a little bit more into making more gas efficient vehicles/ enviornmental friendly vehicles that are smaller with V4's and V6's than gas guzzler V8's. As more consumer become environmentaly friendly, the less customers will be willing to shop for GM vechiles because of issues like gas prices and car fumes placed upon the environment . The high score given was due to the fact, from experience, though GMC vehicles are large in size to provide more seating , hauling power and room , the fuel prices that consumers pay does not create a smaller whole in the wallets of consumers. Even though the new hyrbids save a little bit more gas, it's not enough to say that its really saving the enviornment because its still a V8. The company may need to reduce the car design to smaller SUV's designed just for the enviornmental fanatics to show the consumers that they are really makeing a enviornmental change.
